Review of Dusit Thani Bangkok

The newly renovated hotel just had its Grand Opening at the end of September. I booked it right after the launch for a price of 7,000++ baht. Upon arrival, the valet staff took the car to park and offered a welcome drink, a delicious cold coconut water. The highlight of the new Dusit Silom is that every room offers a full view of Lumpini Park through large windows, which look like paintings. The rooms are spacious and fully equipped as expected from a 5-star hotel. However, there is still a slight smell of paint in the hallways as the renovation was just completed. The swimming pool, fitness center, and spa are beautiful, offering the same view as Sofitel but with a clearer and wider view of Lumpini Park with buildings as the backdrop. Currently, there are very few guests, possibly because the Chinese tourists have just left and other buildings are still under construction. Staying here at this time offers a lot of privacy.
