The moment I stepped into the bustling streets of Sukhumvit and Khao San Road, the vibrant aromas of grilled meats, spices, and sizzling woks hit me. Every corner offers something different, from pad thai to mango sticky rice, and the best part? Most dishes cost between 30-60 THB ($1-2), so it’s super affordable to try a bit of everything. One of my favorites was the spicy papaya salad (som tam)—refreshing, spicy, and full of flavor. The grilled satay skewers were also incredible! As I wandered, I discovered hidden gems in Chinatown, which is an absolute must for seafood lovers. After indulging in all the food, I took a quick tuk-tuk ride to the Grand Palace, one of the most iconic attractions nearby.
