Ministry of Crab Bangkok

A famous seafood restaurant from Sri Lanka that I've had my eye on for a while. At first, I thought from the name that they only sold crabs. But no, they also have fish, shellfish, shrimp, and chicken on the menu. Of course, the star of the restaurant is none other than 🦀. They offer a variety of sizes of sea crabs, from half a kilo to the giant 2-kilo Crabzilla. After choosing the size, you can pick your sauce. Their signature recommendations are Black Pepper and Garlic Chilli. So, I ordered the Black Pepper Crab and Garlic Chilli River Prawns. I have to say, both the crab and prawns were incredibly fresh and firm. The chef mentioned that they only use live, naturally caught ingredients, never frozen, and the sizes are imported directly from Sri Lanka. Pairing them with garlic bread was perfect. Besides these standout dishes, another favorite was the Crab Basil Fried Rice, served in a cute crab-shaped plate with a tiny bowl of fish sauce with chilies. The flavor was intense. I finished off with a fragrant Coconut Crème Brûlée, which was delightful.
