Wat Paknam Phasi Charoen

Wat Paknam Phasi Charoen is a third-class royal temple of ordinary type, built during the mid-Ayutthaya period. It is located in the lowlands of Bangkok, which is part of the Chao Phraya River delta, along Khlong Luang or Khlong Bangkok Yai. The highlight of the temple is the Phra Maha Chedi Maha Ratchamongkol, an architectural blend of Rattanakosin and Lanna styles, with a total of 5 floors. The large Buddha statue in the meditation posture, created according to the vision of Luang Por Sodh, stands as tall as a 20-story building.
