Wat Kalayanamit Woramahawihan 🙏It is an ancient temple built during the reign of King Rama III by Chao Phraya Nikorn Bodin Mahinthara Maha Kalyanamitra. 🪷Luang Pho To is highly revered, especially among the Chinese. It is called Sam Po Hud Kong or Sam Po Kong in Chinese. It is a stucco Buddha statue in the Mara Vijaya attitude, with a lap width of 5 wa 3 sok span and a height of 7 wa 2 sok span and 10 inches. 🙏The ordination hall enshrines the Buddha statue in the Pali Lai posture (Pa Lai Lai), which King Rama III built and bestowed. It is one of only two temples in Bangkok with the principal Buddha image in the Pali Lai posture.
