Check in at the National Museum of Thailand—embark on a magical journey

The National Museum of Thailand, established in 1782, is the largest in scale among Southeast Asian countries. Here, one can take a journey through Thai history and culture. The museum displays sculptures and classical artworks from various periods of Thailand, as well as some important historical relics, such as artifacts unearthed from the Ban Chiang culture, terracotta figures of the ancient female orchestra from Thonburi, the Buddha statue with the gesture of touching the earth from the Sukhothai period known as the 'Phra Si Ariyabot', the Avalokitesvara Bodhisattva statue dubbed the 'Thai Venus', and the famous inscriptions from Sukhothai. It's worth a visit, not too crowded and highly recommended.
