The Louis Vuitton Visionary Journeys exhibition is unveiled in Bangkok for the first time. This first instalment of a new concept for Louis Vuitton’s Visionary Journey exhibition is divided into 5 thematic rooms constructed into distinct environments—Trunkscape, Origins, Iconic Bags, Collaboration, and the Souvenirs room. Trunkscape is a tunnel made from Louis Vuitton signature trunks to transport visitors into the story of Louis Vuitton’s craft and ingenuity. Origins showcases archival documents and items detailing the early inspirations and designs of the Vuitton family. Iconic Bags is dedicated to the 25 years of fashion history at Louis Vuitton, highlighting five iconic bag models: Alma, Keepall, Speedy, Noé and Petite Malle. Collaboration, distinguishes itself from the previous room by diving deeper into the artistic relationships behind some of the brand’s most popular and memorable bags in history. Besides the bags reimagined by Stephen Sprouse, Richard Prince, Takashi Murakami, and Yayoi Kusama, in a semi-circular room, with animated screens creating a backdrop of 184 chrome-dipped bags. The Souvenirs Room features wearable collectables awaits guests and visitors get a chance to bring home a souvenir too… whether its a postcard, a tote bag or even a t shirt!!!!
