Wat Ratchaprathit Sathitmahasimaram Ratchaworawihan Located on Saranrom Road, behind the temple is Soi Rachini next to Khlong Rop Krung, opposite Wat Ratchabophit. Wat Ratchaprathit is a small temple covering an area of ​​only 2 rai. Originally, during the reign of King Rama III, this area was a royal coffee plantation and residences for royal servants. Later, during the reign of King Rama IV, he intended to build a temple according to the ancient tradition that there must be 3 important temples: Wat Mahathat, Wat Ratchaburana, and Wat Ratchaprathit in the capital. He requested to buy this land in 1864 to make it more convenient for palace residents to make merit. For this reason, this temple is considered the temple of King Rama IV. The interior of the temple is beautifully covered with marble. It can be said that it is the first temple decorated with marble in Thailand. The marble is from the coast of Koh Sichang, which is marble made in Thailand. Inside the temple is the principal Buddha image, "Phra Buddha Sihing Patimakorn", which King Rama IV ordered to be copied from the Phra Buddha Sihing at Phra Thinang Phutthaisawan.
