Church in the middle of the water

Wat Hong Thong or Wat Klang Nam is located in Bang Pakong District, Chachoengsao Province, in a mangrove forest area by the sea. There is a walkway connecting the temple grounds on the shore to Phra That Kong Kha Maha Chedi Pricha Prabhakon Prach Sanil Memorial and the Ubosot in the sea. The chedi has 5 floors with paintings about Buddhism and the Thai king, and enshrines various Buddha images. The top floor is a golden chedi containing the relics of the Arahants. You can see the beautiful view of the sea and the land from a high angle. The walkway stretches out into the sea to “Phra That Kong Kha Maha Chedi”. Along the walkway, there are signs with messages and morals to read for fun. At the center of the walkway at Wat Hong Thong, there is a statue of Phra Aphai Mani, a giantess, Phra Aphai, and many other characters from literature. There is a wooden bridge around it so you can enjoy the view. Inside “Phra That Kong Kha Maha Chedi” on the ground floor, there is a replica of Luang Pho Phutthasothon and many other Buddha images for the faithful to pay homage to. The temple also organizes the “Tak Bat Phra Roi” (Offering Alms to a Hundred Monks) ceremony, which is offering alms to monks using coins. (You can exchange coins at the temple) which has hundreds of Buddha statues. You can walk around. When you go up to the 2nd floor of the building, you will find a wax figure resembling the real image of Luang Pu Sod or Phra Mongkolthepmuni (Sod Janthasaro) of Wat Pak Nam Phasi Charoen. Nearby, there is a replica of the Emerald Buddha. The 2nd floor is also a place to display paintings of kings from the past to the present reign and the royal family. There is also a viewpoint where when you look out, you can see the sea when the tide comes in. It looks like this building is floating in the water. The top floor At the top of the "Phra That Kongkha Maha Chedi" is a prominent golden yellow chedi. You can go inside to see it. Inside, there is a pedestal containing the relics of the Arahants in the sea, the first in the world. Another religious site located to the right of "Phra That Kongkha Maha Chedi" is the Ubosot or chapel of Wat Hong Thong, which is also located in the sea.
