Beautiful temple on the banks of the Bang Pakong River

Wat Sai Chon Na Rangsi (Wat Laem Bon) is a beautiful temple on the banks of the Bang Pakong River, over 180 years old. The temple was built during the reign of King Nangklao, influenced by the architectural style of Wat Phra Sri Rattana Satsadaram. The charm of Wat Sai Chon Na Rangsi is the ancient stupa and the ancient ordination hall made of brick and mortar in a rectangular plan with a gable roof made of wood, with two levels, covered with three sets of clay tiles on each level. The lamyong decorations, gable decorations, raka decorations, and hang hong decorations are made of carved wood decorated with glass. The wooden pediment is carved with the image of Narayana riding a garuda, which has now disappeared. The front and back of the ordination hall are made of gable decorations with arched frames like the arches in front of the woman, decorating between the pillars. The walls of the ordination hall are made of brick and mortar with lotus pediments. There are two doors in the front and back on each side. There are four windows on each side of the side walls. Above the door and window openings are arches decorated with stucco patterns in the style of Western art.
