The staff were kind and asked me where I was from. "Here is the chili." Everyone was kind to me. I ordered Nasi Ayam, a mix of roasted chicken and steamed chicken. It also came with a gentle chicken stock soup. It was unusual to have sweet and sour cabbage and carrots on the side. The chicken was not warm, but the rice was not cold. I didn't have much of an appetite, but the rice was smooth and moist and easy to eat. When I asked if they had Chinese tea, they said they did and brought it to me, but it was hot water with brown sugar dissolved in it? It was my first drink. I wonder if it's different from Chinese tea in Malaysia? The total was 8.5 Brunei dollars. It seems a little more expensive than in Malaysia or Thailand, but in Brunei it's a cheap place to eat.
