Ratchaprapha Dam is the second multi-purpose dam in the South. It was originally called Cheow Lan Dam. It was a dam that received the royal grace from His Majesty King Bhumibol Adulyadej the Great, who gave it a new name, Ratchaprapha Dam, which means the light of the kingdom. Ratchaprapha Dam is located in Khao Phang Subdistrict, Ban Takhun District, Surat Thani Province. It is part of Khao Sok National Park. The dam has a natural view. It is a lake surrounded by limestone mountains, allowing visitors to enjoy the surrounding scenery.
