Nusa Penida's Gem: Crystal Bay

Crystal Bay is a gorgeous beach on the west coast of Nusa Penida, an island about a 45 minute fastboat ride from Bali's main island. It features a roughly 200m long stretch of grey and white sand, with a small but prominent islet jutting out from the waters, right in the middle. Crystal Bay is quite small compared to most beaches, and is rather secluded too. Apart from suntanning and swimming, there are many things to do here. One can rent snorkelling equipment, which is highly recommended as the bay is known to be a chilling spot for manta rays! There are also opportunities to jet ski and canoe, among other water activities. There are many eateries right on the sand, so don't worry if you start feeling hungry. I suggest coming earlier in the day and spending a few hours here. The water is quite shallow for a distance, so it is great to swim there! Tips for visiting Crystal Bay: 1. Swim on the extreme left side of the beach. It is less rocky. 2. Sunbeds are IDR100.000 per pair with no time limit. 3. Use the islet as a picture background - incredibly beautiful! 4.
