While on much of the island of Bali you’ll find trendy Western cafes, hoards of expats, and chaotic traffic, North/Central Bali, surrounding the town of Munduk, remains a bit untouched. (At least for now.) Although it’s accessible for a day trip from Ubud or Seminyak, I recommend spending at least three days exploring all that the Munduk has to offer. The town of Munduk is great base for your adventures. From here you can access the best waterfalls, temples, and hot springs. Be sure to visit Munduk and Banyamala Waterfalls, the Ulun Danu Beratan and Tamblingan Lake water temples, and the Holy Hot Springs. #awesomepic
