[Papege s warung: Super cheap and delicious gourmet food in Ubud, Bali]

Papege's Warung This restaurant is one of the cheapest in Ubud, Bali! Drinks are only 15,000 ripiah (about 140 yen). You can even enjoy a large beer, which is hard to find in Indonesia, for 40,000 ripiah (about 360 yen). Meals start at 20,000 ripiah (about 180 yen). It's so cheap that it's easy to over-order, but I ordered the five dishes shown in the photo above: a large beer, mango juice, spring rolls, soy sauce pork, and fried noodles, and my total came to 120,000 ripiah (about 1100 yen). The owner also runs a hostel, so she's sometimes not at the restaurant.
