Arrived in Bali during my much-anticipated 6-month Southeast Asia trip. Surprisingly, not many hotels seemed to suit me. However, the Rumah Luwih Bali Hotel in Gianyar, which I had no expectations for, turned out to be a beautifully serene and peaceful place, filled with love. It felt like a secret, surreal haven contrasting with its surroundings, a delightful surprise. Rumah Luwih allows you just to be a human being, shedding ego and thought. The beautiful restaurant, angelic staff, slow food, and polite service were all present. It felt like playing with angels in a happy spot from a dream. Downside: a fatal beauty here led me, and similarly my husband, to a disastrous event. Why us? I love colonial-style buildings; it's astonishing it was built only 10 years ago. Everything seemed weathered and aged as if 50 to 100 years old. My husband and I got trapped in a small bathroom due to a faulty door lock. Being someone with claustrophobia, I felt like I died but lived. The remaining 7 days of my trip were marred by trauma and stress, ruining my vacation. Beauty morphed into fear, and angels became annoying. I had to endure a difficult week with vivid memories of fear and stress. The hotel's response felt indifferent. Yet, this place left unforgettable memories and incidents on my travels. Several areas in the room were in disrepair. The air conditioning emitted an odor when off, the water didn't drain well, and light bulbs went out simultaneously. The aging hardware and furniture were disappointingly apparent. These issues should be addressed comprehensively before problems occur. Despite the beauty, the overall decay is regrettably evident. The hotel should ensure no more guests like me emerge again. I hope for improved shuttle bus service and an activated lounge with music like Bali music or Batic, creating a rhythmic atmosphere. Special mention to Steff Nanda and Yoga for their dedication, leaving a heartfelt impression. Steff Tami deserves gratitude for saving me. Dining staff Anni, Mr. Dani, and Jaya made us feel like royalty, and I extend countless thanks for their kindness. Lastly, the dear Master Chef Katok reflected guests' requests into customized dishes and engaged directly with them, a standout hospitality feature. The food was genuinely crafted with love, an unforgettable memory from Bali that will stay with me forever.

We feel fortunate to have discovered Adiwana resort for our Bali stay. The staff members are exceptionally friendly and helpful, genuinely enjoying their work and showing heartfelt kindness. I couldn't ask for anything more! The room is very cozy, and the bed is incredibly comfortable. Additionally, their breakfast is fantastic. We eagerly anticipated breakfast each morning. It’s not a buffet, but their a la carte menu is outstanding, with a wide variety of options featuring local herbs—a favorite aspect of mine!

As a Hilton Diamond member, I've experienced numerous Hilton properties worldwide, but Conrad Bali is the standout. From my arrival, I encountered genuine warmth and top-tier service. The staff went beyond expectations in every interaction, not just being professional but truly caring, making me feel recognized and valued. I've never felt more appreciated for my loyalty. Every detail was managed with care, from the smooth check-in to personalized touches and attentive service. I felt like royalty. The resort is stunning, but it's the staff who truly elevate it. I left feeling refreshed, appreciated, and eager to return. For Hilton Honors members, especially those with Diamond status, this is the pinnacle of Hilton hospitality. Thank you, Conrad Bali team (Nanta, Nata, Regan, Surya, Yayuk, Ayu Mas the healer, Sandi, King, and the staff at Rin, Suku, and 8 Degrees South restaurants) for an unforgettable experience!

Our stay at Shibumi Ubud was wonderfully tranquil. The villa's design was a lovely mix of Japanese and Balinese influences. We particularly loved the private pool, the tranquil bathrooms, and the well-equipped kitchen. It was the perfect spot to unwind—peaceful mornings with garden tea and cozy Netflix-filled evenings. Everything was prepared with care, creating a calming and refreshing environment. We eagerly anticipate our next visit!

If you're seeking a Bali hotel that offers the floating breakfast of your dreams, Nadi Hotel Legian is the perfect choice. Enjoy breakfast served right in the pool on a chic tray, offering not just an Instagram-worthy moment but also a truly delicious and carefully crafted meal. Fresh fruits, toast, smoothies, coffee—everything is wonderfully presented and prepared with attention. It was arguably one of the best breakfasts I had on the island! The hotel itself also made a fantastic impression. It features cozy, clean rooms with modern design, warm and helpful staff, and a prime location in the heart of Legian—just a brief walk to shops, cafés, and the beach. Nadi Hotel is a superb option for anyone desiring a stylish, affordable, and flavorful stay. I particularly recommend it to those wishing to savor a floating breakfast in an inviting and attentive atmosphere. I'll definitely return!

This marked our second visit to Bali, a destination far from home and not easily accessible. Nonetheless, when deciding where to travel and lodge, we confidently chose W Bali, after an exceptional experience on our previous stay! Check-In: We pre-booked transportation with the hotel before arrival, which went without a hitch. Once at the hotel, the check-in was remarkably welcoming. During this process, we engaged with many hospitable staff, making us feel just as welcome as on our initial visit. Ayu, our villa host, introduced herself during check-in. W Bali’s check-in is among the best, making you feel like family right away!Villa: By chance, we settled into the same villa from our first stay! It was a delightful surprise. Ayu ensured we were comfortable and settled, assisting with sunset views and dinner plans. The villa looked fantastic! We adore the private pool, truly a paradise. Inside was pristine and as comfortable as we remembered!Grounds: The grounds of W Bali are breathtaking, matching the photos, if not surpassing them. Our daily strolls were thoroughly enjoyable!Food: The dining options at W Bali are top-notch. We relished the daily breakfast, appreciating the chef and staff’s personal interactions with guests. We dined twice at the Fire restaurant due to its hospitality and delicious fare. Nearly every morning, we had breakfast at Starfish Bloo, and we also tried their brunch. Surprisingly, brunch turned out even better than breakfast. Trying W brunch is a must! Meeting in the lobby for a drink before being seated, the brunch selection seems endless, with garden food stations too. The drink package impressively included more than champagne/sparkling wine. Chef Norberto excels in delivering a stellar food program! One evening, we participated in a cocktail class, a major highlight. Yogan, our instructor, was friendly and patient, teaching us to craft unique cocktails—it was incredibly fun! Sunset moments at Woobar were frequent, and we highly recommend it! The views and cocktails are equally stunning!Staff: The friendliness of the staff was remarkable! Every team member greeted us warmly and was eager to engage with guests. Every moment was delightful. Adi greatly assisted us with numerous hotel arrangements, from brunch bookings to extending our stay (yes, we loved it so much we extended it!). Nothing was too much trouble for him. Ayu was an exemplary villa host, ensuring it felt like home and surprising us during our absence. Our appreciation for her knows no bounds; she’s a true asset to the hotel! Yogan is a cocktail expert, and visiting the Woobar felt like catching up with an old friend! Our first encounter was with Dewa, who kindly ensured our bags were sorted and offered golf cart rides! Chef Norberto consistently checked on our stay and meals, making us feel very welcome! In summary, our stay at W Bali was outstanding! We are certain it will be our choice again on future visits! Heartfelt thanks to all the staff members who made us feel so welcome!

This is undoubtedly one of the most stunning beach resorts in Nusa Dua! We've been enjoying our stay here for the past week, and everything we've experienced has been spectacular. The lobby is superb, offering breathtaking views, especially on clear days. We visited Loh Pool Bar, where everything was impeccable, from the crystal-clear water to the outstanding service by a young man named Ari. I enjoyed chatting with him—he's very friendly and attentive, ensuring the best service in the pool bar area. Thank you, Ari, for your kind words. We also spent time at Toya. Although it was a bit crowded, there's nothing to worry about as everything was fine. The music volume was just right, allowing me to relax with delightful drinks, and the food was delicious. The service from Arti was excellent; she has a wonderful smile and a lovely face. Keep up the great work at Toya, Arti. Thank you so much, Sofitel! :)

Super friendly staff, always willing to go the extra mile! This charming boutique has 10 villas, each with a delightful plunge pool. Rooms are well-equipped with Netflix, a mini bar, lounge, and small kitchenette. Enjoy in-room massages and simple, tasty breakfast delivered to your doorstep. We booked through Luxury Escapes. Includes airport transfers both ways and a complimentary shuttle to shopping spots or the beach. Conveniently located. Could use a full-length mirror and bedside reading lamp. Overall, a lovely experience that I've already recommended to friends.
