A peaceful paradise in the heart of Ubud

Last month, my boyfriend and I went to Ubud, Bali, and stayed at Gayatri Hotel. It was an amazing choice. The hotel is located on Monkey Forest Road in the center of Ubud, which is very convenient. The Ubud Palace, Monkey Forest, and market are just a few steps away, and there are many yoga studios, restaurants, and shops nearby, all within a 10-minute walk, so you don't have to worry about getting around. The location of the hotel is a big highlight. It's in the city center, so it's convenient to go anywhere, but it's not on a busy main road, so it's very quiet. Our villa was decorated in a traditional Balinese style and was very beautiful. The hotel facilities were also great, and the pool was cool and pleasant, perfect for relaxing in the afternoon to escape the heat. The hotel also offers dry cleaning services, so you don't have to worry about your clothes during your trip. Our check-in experience was smooth, and the staff was very friendly. We arrived late, but there were still welcome drinks, which was great. Waking up in the morning and enjoying a delicious breakfast on the balcony was a feast for the taste buds. The breakfast offered by the hotel was very rich, with homemade granola, Indonesian fried rice, fried tofu, toast, avocado pancakes, etc. There were many options, including vegetarian and dairy-free options, to satisfy all tastes. The hotel's breakfast service was very thoughtful, and we could enjoy it on the balcony or by the pool every morning. We also tried the hotel's vegetarian meals. We were worried that we wouldn't like them, but the Indonesian fried rice and fried tofu were so delicious that even my non-vegetarian boyfriend couldn't stop praising them. There are many restaurants worth visiting near the hotel, such as Ambar Ubud Bar, Kaukau Restaurant, Padi Restaurant, etc. There are many options, and you can find delicious Southeast Asian or Western food. There are also many spas and yoga studios nearby, so after experiencing the natural scenery and culture of Ubud, you can enjoy a massage. Of course, there are some minor flaws in any place. The pool was a bit dirty when we arrived, but it was quickly cleaned. Some of the upstairs rooms have low balcony railings, which are not safe for children, so families with children are advised to choose a room on the first floor. Also, since the hotel is in a small alley, vehicles cannot reach it directly, so those who need to walk should be careful. Overall, Gayatri Hotel is great in terms of location, service, facilities, and overall atmosphere. If you want to stay in a hotel in Ubud that is convenient, quiet, and has a traditional Balinese style, this is a wonderful choice. I look forward to coming back next time! 🛌🌿👣
