Trip to Penida, Indonesia 🇮🇩

It was a trip to Penida, Indonesia. We began our Penida adventure at Kelingking Beach, one of the most iconic spots on the island 🏝️ As we hiked down the trail, the dramatic cliffs shaped like a T-Rex’s head took our breath away. The turquoise waters crashing against the white sand beach below made for incredible photos 📸 Sunset was the best time to visit, as the golden light highlighted the rugged cliffs and added a magical glow to the scene. I would highly recommend this spot for capturing the raw beauty of nature 🍃 📍Karang Dawa Village, Bunga Mekar, Nusa Penida, Klungkung Regency, Bali, Indonesia We also explored Diamond Beach, a pristine white sand beach 🏝️ surrounded by towering limestone cliffs. The climb down the steep staircase carved into the rocks 🪨 was an adventure in itself, offering stunning views from every angle. The turquoise waters, palm tree🌴 and dramatic rock formations made this spot perfect for photography 📸 Morning was the ideal time to visit, as the sunlight ☀️ illuminated the crystal-clear waters and there were fewer crowds. I would recommend Diamond Beach to anyone looking for postcard-perfect shots. 📍 Pejukutan, Nusa Penida, Klungkung Regency, Bali, Indonesia We also visited Angel’s Billabong, a natural infinity pool with vibrant green and blue hues. It was fascinating to watch the waves crash into the rocky edges while we took photos of the unique tidal pool. Just a short walk away, we explored Broken Beach 🏖️ a natural archway that allows the ocean to flow into a circular cove. Mid-morning was the best time for us, as the sunlight enhanced the colors of the water and cliffs. I would recommend combining these two locations for a day of capturing Penida’s unique geological features. 📍 Sakti, Nusa Penida, Klungkung Regency, Bali, Indonesia Lastly, we also went to Atuh Beach, a hidden gem 💎 surrounded by lush green cliffs and dramatic rock formations. We arrived early in the morning to catch the sunrise, which bathed the beach in soft, golden light. The unique rock formations jutting out of the ocean made for stunning foregrounds in our shots. The climb down to the beach 🏖️ was worth every step, as it felt like we had stumbled upon a secluded paradise.
