6-Day Bali Bliss: From Sunrise Hikes to Underwater Adventures 🏞️🐟 (Part 2)

#hikingtime Day 4: Our day began with an exhilarating snorkelling trip, booked through *Ocean Rider Snorkeling*. We explored the vibrant underwater world of Bali's stunning coastline, swam alongside schools of colourful fish and manta ray. The crystal-clear waters and diverse marine life made for an unforgettable experience. After working up an appetite, we headed to *Warung Be Sanur* for lunch. This local eatery is known for its fresh and flavourful offerings. We enjoyed their signature dish—fried snapper with sambal. The crispy, tender snapper paired perfectly with the spicy sambal withe rice. The simplicity of the setting added to the charm, making it a perfect spot for a leisurely and satisfying meal. Dinner was at Warung SS, known for its sambal and authentic Javanese dishes. We opted for the grilled chicken with sambal terasi, a spicy yet rewarding local favourite. Day 5: After a few action-packed days, we decided to take it easy. Our day began with a visit to *Fore Coffee*, where we indulged in their signature cold brew. The minimalist decor and cosy ambience made it an ideal spot to unwind. Lunch was a simple yet delicious affair at a roadside warung (food stall). We enjoyed a traditional nasi campur, a mixed rice dish with various side dishes, offering a taste of Bali's everyday cuisine. In the afternoon, we treated ourselves to dessert at *Gaya Gelato*, where the rich, creamy flavours of their artisanal gelato were a delightful treat. The pistachio and strawberry flavours were our favourites. For dinner, we chose *Warung Happygen*, a beachfront seafood restaurant. The setting was perfect for a relaxing evening, with the sound of the waves and a stunning view of the ocean. We enjoyed a feast of freshly grilled seafood, including prawns and fish, paired with a tangy sambal that added a delicious kick to our meal. Day 6 We embarked on a thrilling hike to Mount Batur, starting our day at 12:30 a.m. with a 2.5-hour drive to Kintamani. The hike began at 3:30 a.m., and as we ascended, the anticipation of reaching the summit kept us going. The reward was a breathtaking sunrise, casting a golden glow over the landscape. We enjoyed a simple breakfast of Indomie (instant noodles) at the summit, a humble but comforting meal in the cool mountain air. After our descent, we stopped by *Okuta* in Kintamani for lunch. It is a charming cafe nestled in the heart of Kintamani, known for its inviting ambiance and cozy atmosphere. The cafe’s design features a blend of traditional and modern elements, with wooden furnishings and panoramic views of the surrounding landscape. It was a perfect spot to relax and recharge after our morning adventure. In the afternoon, we pampered ourselves with a relaxing massage at *Piramid Spa*, where the soothing ambiance and skilled therapists helped us unwind. Dinner that evening was a delicious bebek goreng (fried duck) from a roadside stall, followed by a sweet treat of martabak from *Martabak Pecenongan*.
