When I was in the 480-square-meter Shan Yan villa, I finally felt its unparalleled charm. Every corner of the guest room showcases the unique features of Bali, with teak furniture and handmade leather sofas that exude the style that can only be found in the four seasons in the details. One afternoon, we didn't want to dine in the hotel restaurant, so the butler arranged an outdoor picnic for us, where we could see the landscape of palm trees and terraced fields complementing each other. Follow the stream all the way, pray at the temple by the water, have a picnic in the mountain forest stream for lunch, separated by bamboo, hear the sound of water, and see a small pool below. It feels like walking into "The Record of the Small Stone Pool", sitting on the ground at any time, listening to the wind singing in the ultimate greenery. Taking advantage of my free time, I also booked a sleep class. Compared to relaxation, the whole process feels more like a sacred ritual. Under the guidance of the teacher, lying on the pink hammock slowly relaxing, the body is suspended to form a natural curve by gravity, and the spine relaxes. Listening to the sound of singing bowls, ethereal lullabies, insect chirps and bird calls in the rice fields, I fall asleep deeply between breaths, and wake up when the sun is already setting. Crispy-skinned and tender meat roasted suckling pig paired with locally cooked duck, chicken stewed in bamboo tubes, and Bali-style satay, this meal heals both the taste buds and the soul. The private swimming pool outside the villa leads directly to the riverbank. You can enjoy the magnificent views of the river, terraced fields, and tropical gardens without leaving the house. On this trip to Bali, I relaxed my tense state, and my inner soul was cheering. I truly felt the healing power of nature.
