mesmerizing lights display at kek lok si penang

Kek Lok Si temple held a light festival every chinese new year. the whole hill will light up starting 7.30pm everyday for a month! Kek Lok Si was built more than 100 years ago and it is one of the largest temple complex in SouthEast Asia. Even in the day, it is beautiful. Other than climbing the stairs, there is also a funicular service to take you uphill. The price is RM8 for one-way. There’re a lot of hall/monument to visit there, but the most popular is the Pagoda. It is best to pair your visit ti Kek Lok Si with Bukit Bendera as they’re located only a few minutes drive to each other. 🕰️Business Hours: 8.30am-5.30pm (they will only open at night during CNY season) #awesomepic #cherryblossom2024 #penang
