[Fukui] Ajidokoro Hachihachi, a Japanese-style pub in Awara Onsen

I stayed overnight in Awara Onsen. Awara Yunomachi Station on the Echizen Railway is closer to the hot spring town than JR Awara Onsen Station, and there is a free foot bath in front of the station. It was crab season, so I considered having meals at the inn, but I like to pop into a restaurant that has a firm grip on the stomachs of locals, so this time I stayed overnight without meals. I had dinner at Ajidokoro Hachihachi, an izakaya restaurant located in the middle of a rice field. It is a counter-style restaurant. I just told them that I wanted to leave the local recommended dishes and drinks to them, and they gave me an endless supply of delicious food. I am grateful that they gave me small amounts of various dishes so that I could enjoy them alone. The deep-fried dish made with gasu ebi shrimp, which is caught in the Hokuriku region, was amazingly delicious. Both the landlady and the owner were very kind, and I would like to go to Fukui again just for this place.
