The Awesome Odean

The Odeon of Herodes Atticus is a Roman theatre made of stone located on the south West slopes of the Acropolis of Athens. It was completed in 160 1AD. It originally was a three story structure with a stone front wall and a wooden roof today, it is still used as a venue for music concerts etc. Aside from the Acropolis itself it’s one of the most impressive structures in the archaeological site. #celebrateit #athens #odeon #acropolis
