Sulfur Mountain really stinks.

After visiting Owakudani in Hakone, this time I went to Sulfur Mountain in Akan-Mashu National Park in Hokkaido. The sulfur smell is very strong, and combined with the hot weather, it's only suitable for viewing from a distance or staying nearby for a few minutes. For those who can't tolerate the sulfur smell, there's a nearby Sulfur Mountain shop with a small information center. It also provides chairs, so you can safely and comfortably view Sulfur Mountain through the glass indoors.
