Extraordinary shrine with reflection Kuki shrine

#getgoing2025 The environmental monument "Air Shrine" expresses the air by reflecting the scenery of the four seasons in the mirror by placing a 5-metre-square stainless steel plate in a mirror in the beech forest. The main hall is located at a depth of 3 metres and is an underground space surrounded by a torii consisting of four pillars representing the four seasons. Clean air is enshrined in a bottle of 12 pieces (12 months) that represent a year.In Asahi-cho, June 5, World Environment Day, is established as "Asahi-cho Air Day" by ordinance, and the "Air Festival" is held on that day and the nearest Saturdays and Sundays, and the shrine main hall in the basement will be opened.

#getgoing2025 We had an excellent stay at Tenseien. We took a room with private onsen on the balcony which is a fantastic experience; the view was beautiful on a mountain with two cascades but it remained very intimate at the same time. The room was in traditional Japanese style with futon. It was a great Japanese experience. We also were lucky to see the cherry blossom and there is a long alley of cherry trees in front of the hotel which made it even prettier. The only caveat is that dinner is only a buffet and while it is of good quality, it is not at the same level of quality as the room. We would have appreciated a menu, even at a slightly higher price, to have a perfect experience. The buffet was fun, though, to have an overview of some Japanese specialities.
