Lakes and nature in Appenzell

I went hiking in Appenzell in November. It took about an hour by train from Zurich Central Station to St. Gallen. Then another 40 minutes by train from St. Gallen to Appenzell, and a 10-minute bus ride to the hiking trail. We set our goal at Lake Zearpssee and hiked there. Please note that the hike is quite hard lol The scenery was spectacular and wonderful. It seems that you can enjoy cheese in the summer, but the shops were closed in autumn and winter. There is a lot of snow even in autumn, so I recommend wearing hiking shoes. It's a recommended hiking spot because of the wonderful scenery! ##Appenzell #switzerland
