🌻The gentle gaze of the Virgin Mary🌻

Visited the Cathedral of Our Lady in Antwerp, the architecture is like solidified music, walking inside feels unbelievably beautiful. I have loved visiting churches since I was young, and whenever I travel to different cities, I always look for a church to visit. Although I am an atheist, sitting in a church, watching the light and shadow projected by the stained glass windows, the organ playing music, and the dust quietly floating in the sunlight, there is always a sense of calm and tranquility. And the Virgin Mary gently gazes from afar, time stands still at this moment on a timeless afternoon. After coming to study in the Netherlands, I pass by a church on my way to school. Sometimes I hear the bells ringing on the hour, and I see people coming in and out of the church 💕. There is a certain power preserved in this building. Everyone in this world has their own beliefs. I always thought I would devoutly believe in something, but after all these years, I've realized that love is my only and most intimate religion. And what do you believe in? Freedom, love, or the vitality of spring? Or maybe we won't discuss grand concepts anymore 💕. I believe in the landscape paintings of Claude Monet in the gallery, I believe in the bubbles of freshly opened soda water, and I believe in a kiss from him at midnight 💕.
