During a trip to Yunnan years ago, I noticed the Banyan Tree hotel brand. When I visited the Huangguoshu Waterfall, I finally checked into my first Banyan Tree hotel - a resort. This should be one of the most expensive hotels in Guizhou, with a basic room rate exceeding 4K. The Huangguoshu scenic area was a travel destination that my friends and I decided to visit on a whim. To our surprise, there was such a top-level resort hidden in the scenic area. Booking this hotel includes two tickets to the Huangguoshu Waterfall scenic area, pick-up and drop-off from the airport or high-speed rail station, and the hotel butler will call in advance to greet you and add you on WeChat. Upon arrival at the hotel lobby, three staff members were waiting at the door. One staff member was responsible for putting on a silver necklace characteristic of the local area for us, another prepared a pot of organic Pu'er tea for us to taste, and another helped us check in, welcoming our arrival with a full sense of ceremony. The hotel lobby is a model of modern Chinese style decoration, very stylish, as if in a manor, secluded, quiet, luxurious, this is probably the natural green lung that urban people yearn for. The first feeling of living in is quiet. Although the hotel is in the Huangguoshu scenic area, it is not affected by the noise in the scenic area. This is also a paradise in the scenic area. If there is no reservation order, the hotel area does not receive or allow visits, fully protecting the privacy and safety of guests. It only takes 3/5 minutes to walk from the hotel to the Huangguoshu Waterfall. The staff will send you to the hotel door, and you will reach the scenic area after a short walk. I stayed for two days, and the butler arranged interesting activities every day, such as yoga, batik, outdoor hot springs, afternoon tea tasting, or going to the Huangguoshu Waterfall. The hotel focuses on hot springs and Pu'er tea. In the tea bar, Pu'er tea of different years is sold, and you can also ask the staff to brew a pot for you for free. The plants and flowers in the public area are all picked by the hotel staff from the mountains and brought back to the hotel. The placement of the vases is very thoughtful and artistic. In the afternoon, the staff will invite guests to the tea room for tea tasting, accompanied by some snacks. Pu'er is the main melody, and the cakes are just embellishments and will not steal the limelight from the tea. There is no fancy three-tier afternoon tea, only quiet and simple tea tasting. Lunch was served in the hotel's Waterfall Pavilion Chinese restaurant. The restaurant is expensive, but the dishes are good. The chef can cook. A simple fried rice noodle can amaze my taste buds. The service is very good. I stayed in a lake view hot spring luxury suite. The room is about 120 square meters. The first feeling when entering the room is a pleasant smell. The service staff lit essential oil lamps in the bedroom, living room, and bathroom. The smell is the temptation to relax on vacation. There are prepared welcome fruits on the living room table, and the snacks and drinks in the living room minibar are free and provided daily. It also comes with organic Pu'er tea grown in the hotel's own tea garden. The bedding of Banyan Tree is very comfortable, light and breathable, meeting sleep requirements. The room is equipped with a BOSE Bluetooth speaker. The bathroom has a double basin, standard Dyson hair dryer, smart beauty mirror, and bath products are LE LABO33. The room comes with a hot spring, 24 hours, the hot spring is set on the balcony, the balcony area is very large, there is a tea drinking area, rest area, facing the lake and looking at the forest. In the evening, the staff will come to the room to do the night bed service, prepare milk, light the room candles, the hot spring ceremony is very full, listening to music on the balcony, watching the stars, soaking in the hot spring, letting the body and mind reach a best relaxed state. The two nights of good night drinks are different, the first night is red dates and white fungus, the second night is peach gum and goji berries, very thoughtful to create a comfortable experience for guests. The breakfast is a single point plus half self-service, there are local Guizhou noodles and rice noodles, the juice is freshly squeezed, the quality is online. The local climate is very good, not cold or hot, swimming in the swimming pool, the water is a bit cold. The water quality of the swimming pool is very good, next to it is the hot spring, there are more than 20 large and small hot spring pools. The public area hot spring is sold to the outside, the price is not cheap, the hot spring with different medicinal effects, the most critical point is that the service is good enough to be praised, several people serve a room, during the hot spring process, the service staff will bring juice, cola, Sprite, tea, ask you need, super intimate. In the hot spring area, various fruit trees are planted, and guests can pick them themselves. The tea garden is also surrounded by the hot spring. In the three days and two nights at this hotel, what I felt was the mental state of the hotel staff, like the service model of Haidilao, making guests comfortable, the service is basically on call, the ability to solve problems is very strong, if there is a shortcoming of this hotel, I think it is that the lights in the entire hotel area are too dark at night, not suitable for walking, although the butler is available at any time, guests sometimes just want to take a walk by themselves, because it is too dark, they will also be afraid to go out.
