The Stockton Sand Du

The Stockton Sand Dunes, located west of Anna Bay in New South Wales, is about 32 kilometers long and is the largest sand dune system in Australia. It is also the largest "wind-blown sand" coastal terrain in the southern hemisphere, known as the "Sahara Desert by the Sea". Equipped with proper gear, riding on gentle camels, walking slowly towards the beach, feeling the sea breeze, the amazing scenery of half desert and half ocean immediately comes into view, creating a wonderful mix of feelings.
