Zhejiang Family-Friendly Homestay｜Stay with Kids in a Bamboo Forest Mushroom House, a Summer Cooling Paradise!

Last weekend, I took the kids on a self-driving trip to Anji, Zhejiang, and discovered a homestay perfect for family vacations—Midsummer Dream Rural Wild Luxury. Escape the city heat and hide in this fairy tale world surrounded by a sea of green bamboo. Mushroom-shaped thatched roof cottages are scattered across the mountains and fields, cool and healing. The kids were so excited they started squealing as soon as they walked in! ⭐️⭐️Family Features and Must-Experience: 1⃣️ Midsummer Dream is located in Anji, the birthplace of the saying "Lucid waters and lush mountains are invaluable assets." The homestay is hidden in a remote mountain village, with bamboo breezes on one side and pastoral idyll on the other—perfect for bringing kids close to nature! 2⃣️ The mushroom-shaped dome tents have a special exotic feel, like stepping into a fairy tale kingdom or a mini Maldives. Since we can't travel abroad now, this place fully satisfies kids' little wishes for an "adventure trip." 3⃣️ We stayed in the Mountain Stream Wild Villa, a two-story design ideal for a family of three or two families traveling together. Both upstairs and downstairs have private spaces, and the balcony faces the green mountains. Counting stars with the kids at night was so cozy. 4⃣️ The outdoor pool is the kids' favorite! There's a round thatched pavilion in the middle, separate children's and deep pools, and a trendy glass boat, making the kids' summer water play photos absolutely adorable～ 5⃣️ The public viewing terrace offers an amazing view. We had a family afternoon tea here; the kids enjoyed snacks while watching the mountain scenery, so happy they didn’t want to leave. 6️⃣️ The homestay has its own children's playground, with slides, building blocks, and picture books—everything you need to free up parents' hands while the kids play until they don’t want to go back to the room! 7️⃣️ Parking is super convenient! There’s a dedicated parking lot with a sunshade, so no worries about the car getting hot, and loading and unloading luggage is easy. ⭐️⭐️Family Tips: 📌 Location: Songjiawan, Baiyang Village, Xiaofeng Town, Anji, Huzhou, Zhejiang 🚗 Transportation: Self-driving is recommended; the mountain roads are a bit winding but the scenery is stunning. Families from other places can take the high-speed train to Anji Station and then taxi about 26 kilometers. ⚠️ Warm Tips: There are quite a few mosquitoes in the mountains. Although the public areas have mosquito control, it’s still recommended to spray mosquito repellent on the baby and wear thin long sleeves. Be sure to apply sunscreen when going out during the day!
