From Beer to Prayer: A Day at Maredsous Abbey

Last weekend, my friends and I visited the Maredsous Abbey in Belgium, enjoying a peaceful and fulfilling weekend getaway. Nestled in the lush valleys of the Ardennes, the abbey offers fresh air and picturesque scenery. At noon, we dined at the abbey's on-site restaurant, savoring the renowned Maredsous beer and monk-made cheese, both of which were rich in flavor and unforgettable. This brief trip not only allowed us to escape the hustle and bustle of the city but also provided a profound experience of the serenity and beauty of Belgian abbey culture.
