The Amalfi Coast is a stretch of coastline in southern Italy overlooking the Tyrrhenian Sea and the Gulf of Salerno, located south of the Sorrento Peninsula and north of the Cilentine Coast. The Amalfi Coast, a UNESCO World Heritage Site for its rugged terrain, uniqueness, diversity and picturesque towns, is named after the town of Amalfi. Praiano's secluded coastline is a paradise for beach lovers, while Minori, home to the world's oldest pasta, is a mecca for foodies.
