Alanya’s fortress, Kalesi - Turkey

Beautiful location with breathtaking views. Kalesi is a definite must see if you are visiting Alanya! Kalesi literally means “a castle”, a fortress in Turkish. It is located in the very center of the city and tourists no need to go far - the roads will lead to its walls during one of the walks around the city. Kalesi is one of the most famous tourist attractions in Alanya. The castle on the mountain can be seen from Cleopatra Beach. I recommend to go to the observation desk to see breathtaking views from up. On the way back, it is interesting to walk around the mountain village, going down the road with spectacular views.
