Sea urchin like museum

Set in the remote and barren location at Sharjah desert with beautiful Jabel backdrop sits a visitor centre and a geological museum designed by Hopkins Architects. Quite small but very well curated exhibition tells the story of geological past of the region. A short walk leads directly to the edge of Jabel and enables closer look at variety of stone formation. there is also a caffe on the site. highly recommended to visit during winter before it gets to hot. requires self drive.
