Heart of the city

While I only had a few hours to spare in Aix en Provence during a week long trip. I did manage to stroll around the Cours Mirabeau, which was quite lovely during the day. The weather was perfect and the place with its colorful buildings and architecture made for a fine walk around this part. There were several fountains too and the tree lined roads had a lively vibe. I'm told there is a market that takes place over here on Thursdays. The building with their regal architecture and open air cafes added to the ambience of this stretch. It clearly is the grandest boulevard and heart of the city.
