Aarschot's famous Japanese restaurant

#GetDiscountWithoutLuck Shokudo is a very popular Japanese restaurant in Aarschots. The atmosphere in the restaurant is beautifully decorated, a little bit luxurious. The menu is diverse. In addition to general Japanese food, there are also Thai food. For this meal, we ordered some Thai food and some Japanese food. Let's try the following: ➡️ Tom Kha Gai Tom Kha Gai has a sour, salty, and spicy taste that is truly Thai. But it uses a thicker, creamier coconut milk than usual. Which is the taste that foreigners like because it gives a feeling similar to a thick cream soup. The chicken that is added seems to be marinated with turmeric or curry powder, which helps to enhance the taste. ➡️ Tom Yum Goong It is a clear Tom Yum soup with fairly large shrimp. The Tom Yum taste is well-balanced. ➡️ Tempura Shrimp The tempura batter is fried until very fluffy and crispy, not oily. It is quite enjoyable to eat. ➡️ Nigiri Sushi Set This is a set of nigiri sushi consisting of salmon sushi, squid, grilled eel, tuna, and white fish. It is usually served raw. But I wanted to eat aburi sushi, so the chef burned the top for me specially. The taste of the fish was okay, but the sushi rice here uses loose rice grains that are tightly packed together, which is what many other sushi restaurants here use. ➡️ Rice + Red Curry This dish was better than expected. The curry paste was fragrant, the curry was thick and perfectly separated, and the taste was very good. To be honest, this dish is more delicious than many Thai restaurants.
