This is Canada in Japan! Yatsugatake Canadian Farm
Canadian Farm is located in Yatsugatake, Nagano Prefecture.
This facility was created by Haseyan, also known as Yutaka Hasegawa, and includes a restaurant, accommodation, athletic facilities, an organic vegetable field, and a ranch.
You can experience a simple life of living in harmony with nature.
The buildings at Canadian Farm are mainly made from natural and recycled materials, and the warm wooden design of the athletic facilities, hammocks, and trampolines are popular with children.
Whenever I go to Canadian Farm, I really lose track of time. I am in nature, tilling the land, growing vegetables, stripping bark for wood to build houses, and cooking and baking cakes.
Haseyan cuts and serves homemade bacon made from deer, wild boar, and pork right in front of me.
The vegetables are also really fresh and delicious.
I go every year, so I have a lot of photos, but all the food is really delicious.

Tateshina Mountaintop Hut
Mount Tateshina, located at the northern end of the Yatsugatake mountain range, is a popular day-trip destination. Many people visit in the summer. The mountain hut just before the summit on the main route is the Tateshina Summit Hut. With its classic mountain hut exterior, it tells climbers that if they make it this far, the summit is just around the corner.

Rainy Mount Io
This photo was taken in the rain, but it is of Mount Io in the Yatsugatake Mountain Range, South Yatsugatake. The mountain is characterized by a spectacular explosion crater, and you can walk along the edge of the crater. Depending on the route, it is one of the mountains in the Yatsugatake Mountains that can be climbed in a day.

Mt. Yokodake in the rain
Yokodake is the second tallest mountain in the Yatsugatake mountain range. It was raining when I took this photo, so the view was not great, but if it was sunny, I would have been able to see the beautiful plateau below. It is also known as a difficult spot when traversing the southern Yatsugatake mountains, so be prepared if you are heading there.

Akadake in summer
Akadake is the highest peak in the Yatsugatake mountain range. Yatsugatake is very popular for many reasons, including its natural beauty and mountain shape, but Akadake is the tallest of them all, and is the one that many people climb in the summer. From the trailhead to the base of the mountain, you walk through the forest, and then you start climbing all the way up. There are chain sections near the peak, so be sure to wear proper climbing gear.

Crossing the Yatsugatake Mountains
I went on a trip across the Yatsugatake mountains in Nagano!!
I drove from Tokyo to Nagano in a rental car,
stayed at an Airbnb near Yatsugatake the night before
then left at 5am and headed to Yatsugatake
It was my first real mountain climb, and it took me more than 12 hours to climb a mountain that was too difficult.
I ate at the top of Akadake, then I descended from various peaks, including Yokodake
The friend who went with me is a tough guy who has climbed Everest before, and he carried my luggage on the way.
It was really tough, but the view from the top and the view along the way were so amazing that I want to go again!!!

Alpine plants of the Japanese Alps
Nagano Prefecture, Japan Alps
This is a beautiful place, with moss-covered areas, streams, and small flowers.
Because it's in the mountains, the roads are rough until you get there, so it's best to go by car with a confident driver or by bus.
The temperature is low and the wind feels good and refreshing.
At the foot of the mountain, there are mountain huts for accommodation and rest, farms where you can pick blueberries, and a morning market selling vegetables.
On the mountain path, I was surprised to encounter people walking and carrying fruit to mountain huts even higher in altitude.

Yatsugatake 🏔️⛩️The spiritual energy is so great✨🌸
Yatsugatake is famous for its spiritual energy and profound cultural heritage. I strolled along the mountain trail, feeling the breath of nature and the blessing of culture. The tranquility and mystery of the mountains are like an experience of dialogue with gods. ✨🌸
The atmosphere in the mountains is filled with tranquility and beauty. I visited ancient temples and shrines, listening to the pulse of culture. This is a journey connected to history and faith, which made me feel the connection and respect between man and nature again. ⛩️🌿
