There is a relief statue of Maitreya Buddha on the small entrance door, and there are weathered couplets on both sides of the statue with unclear handwriting. There are two stone tablets on the west side of the entrance, one of which has the line "Stone Carving of the Holy Statue of Zhuangcai in Longqing Temple, Cuiwei Mountain" at the top. Longqing Temple was built at least in the Ming Dynasty. From the inscriptions on the stele - the author is an article about the lingering rhythm of the old capital - it can be traced back to the Wanli period of the Ming Dynasty when the eunuch Zhao Jiang was on a mission to Cuiwei Mountain. He heard that there was a statue of Zhuang Cai in the ancient temple Longqing Temple. He went to worship it but found that the temple no longer existed. Only the statue of Zhuang Cai was still there in the stone chamber, but the golden body had unfortunately peeled off. Zhao Jiang returned to the palace to collect donations, rebuild Longqing Temple and re-sculpt the golden statue. The stone tablet closer to the cave entrance was erected in 1579, and the other one was erected in 1591, 12 years apart.
