It is about 1,500 meters above sea level and is part of the Chubu Sangaku National Park. There is a Kappa Bridge in this area which is one of the famous attractions in Kamikochi. The bridge is named after the Japanese mythological creature "Kappa". The river under the bridge is the Azusa River. There is a gravel trail on each side, which is a good choice for many tourists and Japanese people to hike. The river trail has towering trees, beautiful scenery, and fresh air, so you won't feel tired walking on it. In addition, you can hear the sound of bells everywhere. It is said that there are bears in the mountains and forests. For safety, when bears hear the sound of human bells, they will avoid them, just like what we call alerting the snake. No wonder there are bells of various shapes for sale in the art shops near Kappa Bridge. It takes about three or four hours to walk to the trailhead. The tour group did not have so much time to allow tourists to hike here, so we spent about an hour enjoying the scenery along the Azusa River.

The hotel has an excellent location, right next to the main road, making it very convenient to get in and out, and not far from Toyama Station on the Hokuriku Shinkansen. Opposite the hotel is the Toyama Castle Park, which houses the Toyama Castle, and on the other side is the Ito Memorial Museum. I woke up at around five in the morning, washed up, and prepared to go to the Toyama Castle Park opposite. This is an extra attraction, so I came here to take a look before having breakfast. After walking around the park, we returned to the hotel for breakfast. The restaurant has a high and spacious space and a rich variety of breakfasts. After eating one meal, we probably don’t need to eat lunch. There are other attractions not far away. If you come to Toyama City for a trip, you can consider staying in this hotel.

Over the weekend, I managed to photograph the mountains from every angle. 1️⃣ Preparation: Toyama's official website offers Tateyama scenery forecasts and 24-hour live camera feeds. I finalized my trip the day before departure after seeing an 80% and 60% chance of clear views of Tateyama over the weekend. 2️⃣ Iwasehama Area: Take the Toyama Tram directly from JR Toyama Station. Here, you can capture photos of the beach and fishing bridge with the snowy mountains as a backdrop. It's relatively less crowded, allowing you to fully enjoy the scenery and photography. 3️⃣ Glass Art Museum Area: Stunning snow mountain views can be captured from the road in front of the Glass Art Museum. 4️⃣ Toyama City Hall Observation Deck: This is the most recommended viewing spot in Toyama City. You can enjoy a free 360-degree panoramic view of the snow-capped mountains from the observation deck, tens of meters high. It's earned the nickname "Toyama's Premium Viewing Seat." 5️⃣ Fugan Canal Park: Within walking distance from Toyama Station, the canal's connecting bridge features two three-story towers. Here, you can capture the perfect combination of the canal, Starbucks, and the snowy mountains. 6️⃣ Inside Toyama Station: You can also capture unique perspectives of the snowy mountains from within the station. The following are attractions in the Takaoka area, easily accessible by train from Toyama. 7️⃣ Amaharashi Coast: This is arguably one of Toyama's most famous spots. A place I have always looked forward to traveling to🤩🤩🤩 I originally thought the transportation would be complicated, but actually when I arrived at the scene, I felt it was totally fine! 🗓️Itinerary: Kurobe Tateyama can be climbed from Ogizawa Station or Tateyama Station. It depends on which side is more convenient for traveling. We went up the mountain from Ogizawa Station to the Snow Wall Station and then went down the mountain the same way. The advantage is that almost all transportation on the mountain can be reached🤩 Starting from Ogizawa Station and going up the mountain to the snow wall, there are a total of four modes of transportation. Two buses and two cable cars are really fun!!! The room is conveniently located on the 2nd floor, on the same floor as the restaurant and large bath. The room size is spacious enough and the bed is relatively comfortable. There are free ice cream bars in the large bath outside the hotel. It's so cool to eat after soaking in the hot springs. This time book the hotel with breakfast, breakfast has seafood bowl all you can eat, tuna fish paste, salmon caviar, sweet shrimp, oily fish, crab meat, many other styles, very rich. The hotel is some distance from Toyama Station, but it is about 1 minute to walk to the hotel by city electricity, so it is very convenient. In a tranquil city, staying at a spa hotel is a treat.

Toyama Airport has a beautiful view where you can also see the Tateyama mountain range. To use this airport, I used ANA's Value Transit Fare from Naha to Haneda to Toyama. The airport itself is compact, but the number of model planes on display is outstanding. It's also nice that sushi is rotating on the baggage turntable. Since it was my first time using it, I took a look around the airport and the observation deck after arriving. Then I missed the bus to the city center and had to take a taxi. At airports with limited access, it's a good idea to do your research in advance.
