The hotel is situated in Sepang. It is a pretty far drive from Kuala Lumpur, roughly an hour plus. However, once you get there, you are taken into a whole new environment. You are greeted with beautiful fountains along the way. The service is excellent, everyone is very attentive and polite. 🥰 Everything is good and a lot of activities are there. Room is extraordinary. There are gym, pool, restaurant, night show, etc. There are many restaurants close by too. If you're not planning to go out much, there are plenty of activities in the resort. The beds and room were extremely comfortable, had great sleep. Showers were comfortable with great water pressure. 👍🏻✨ It is a perfect place if you want to get away from the hustle and bustle of city life and just kick back with a good book, fresh salty air and sunshine. The last time I was here it was 6 years ago and even after 6 years although the rooms are of course heavily used condition but it is still well kept and clean. I’m glad that I have the Hotel Manager Mr. Bazmeer to assist me and gave a well located room (near pool & cafe). My 2nd night I managed to get upgraded room with acceptable rates as well. On top of that, he has helped and address my concerns tremendously. Will surely bring my kids again and highly recommend to others as well. Just a minor thing that I hope the management can improve on the rooms condition cause I had a small issue with the sliding door that unable to close properly. Other than that, all good. Getting There - from my house it takes about 1 hour to arrive. If you’re from Kuala Lumpur International Airport it’s just 36km. You may book a grab/ taxi. Attractions - Walking distance to beach and restaurants. There’s a night life (if it’s not raining). Hotels - We booked Family Water villa (2 bedroom) super spacious. Super clean. The bed was super comfortable. I would say (10/10). Amenities - Beach, Fitness Centre, Spa and Infinity Pool. (9/10) Food & Restaurants - Breakfast was good. Various choices of food. I am going to plan a trip back again soon to the Malaysia Maldives.resort. I have heard stories about this and so I flew down to KL and drove myself to Avani Sepang Goldcoast Resort. Along the way, you can make several pit-stop to try out local hawker food too. It is refreshing to arrive at Avani Sepang Goldcoast Resort, it is at the sea and it feels good being at the sea listening to the waves. I had a two bedroom villa and it looked more like a chalet than a Villa right above the sea. Don't forget to go to their infinity pool and when the wind is strong, the sea waves will come crashing into the pool. There are also free bicycles around the resort. All guests can use it to ride back to their villa. Don't get disappointed because the sea is kind of muddy, not much crystal clear sea water. stayed 3days 2 nights here. the unit is very specious, got 2 rooms..1 double bed and 2 single beds. but do not have lif, so if having difficulty using stairs i think can request for ground floor unit. the pool is very nice. kids loved it. seafood restaurant is walking distance. recommended for family vacation
