#summerdestinations There is a golden spot located just 2+ hours away from the capital city of Liaoning. If you are looking for a weekend getaway and want to avoid the hustle of long flights, Dongdaihe is the place you could visit. From Shenyang, get a train ticket to Dongdaihe railway station. From the station, there is a 3rmb bus ride that would take you to the entrance of Orientino hotel which is only 10-15 mins away. Although the beach does not stretch for miles, you can pick a nice spot to beach bum under the sun. If the summer heat is too much, you can rent one of those umbrellas that start from 200 rmb and then you can have sun protection all day long. Also, you can bring your own tent or umbrella, prop it on the sand, bring a loud speaker, pop open a cold beer and enjoy the day. The hotel nearby called Orientino hotel is right in front of the beach. It’s a 5 ⭐️ hotel that has all the facilities you need for a good holiday. The room is spacious with separate toilet and shower room. The bath tub is placed outside the shower room but has a divider for some privacy. The hotel also has indoor and outdoor pools but better check with the hotel for outdoor pool availability as they schedule it for days of cleaning. They have some VR and other small arcades for your entertainment, too. The most fun part of the trip in dongdaihe is the stretch of beach activities. Along the beach, you can find several little amusement parks and at night they held an outdoor party where a DJ and an MC were hosting. There were endless fireworks and tons of snacks in the street. It gives you that happy, fun vibe. There are no dull moments. In the remaining days of summer, make this one your final stop before the weather gets cold again.

Liaoning Huludao-Xingcheng 🏖️ Three Days and Two Nights Super Great Travel Guide 😜 Huludao is a relatively niche coastal city 🎈, located in the southwest of Northeast China, with a long history and excellent natural resources 👍! Xingcheng is right next door, very close. This time I stayed in Huludao and Xingcheng for three days and two nights, and was impressed by the beautiful scenery and affordable prices 😃. The sunrise at Longhuitou is stunning 😍, super spectacular! 💟 Lingyun Morning Market has everything, low prices, and the dried prawns are so delicious you can't stop eating them 😝! 💟 The Sea Art Museum at Red Beach is super artistic 🎨, highly recommended! 💟 Lianshan Night Market and Xinggong Middle Street Night Market may have fewer stalls in the off-season, and they don't feel as lively as Dongshan Night Market in Xingcheng. Day3 📍 International Peace Plaza → Longwan Seaside → Wanghai Temple → Bikini Plaza → Hulugu Town 💟 The sunrise at International Peace Plaza is amazing, I love it 😘! 💟 Longwan Seaside is near International Peace Plaza, you can walk there. 💟 Wanghai Temple is a temple built by the sea. You need to climb a small hill to reach the temple, interesting 😃! 💟 The beach at Bikini Plaza is relatively ordinary. 💟 Hulugu Town is very interesting. This should be a seaside resort that most people will miss! And I have to highly recommend it! Photo taken in June 2020, it was also a coincidence. Due to a flight change to Qinhuangdao, I switched to a train at the last minute, and then... 20 minutes drive from Shanhaiguan Railway Station, I discovered a place called 'Dongdaihe'! Actually, this is Huludao! And it's not in Hebei! It's already in Liaoning! If it weren't for this chance encounter, I would never have known about this place! After arriving, I found out that Huludao is such an interesting place! Extremely low prices, fresh seafood, seaside homestays with stunning views... niche historical and cultural attractions... and there's even... a World Cultural Heritage site! Huludao, originally just a transit point, made me stay for five whole days! It only takes about 20 minutes to get to the easternmost end of the Great Wall - Shanhaiguan; and the Jiumenkou Great Wall on Huludao is a very niche World Cultural Heritage site. Climbing the authentic water Great Wall is quite interesting! I also went to~~ One of the most well-preserved Ming Dynasty ancient cities in China: Xingcheng The world's first leaning tower is on the way to Xingcheng, called the 'Qianwei Leaning Tower' Its inclination and age are both greater than the Leaning Tower of Pisa, and it's especially fun to take pictures Go find Cao Cao's 'East to the Jieshi Mountain to view the vast sea', and when you find the Jieshi, you also find the stunning seascape. If you like horse riding, take a ride along the sea, it's quite a different kind of fun! Compared to the well-known Beidaihe, this place is less crowded and quiet, with low consumption, yet on the same coastline. Although the beauty of Aranya is indeed impressive... But, the price for one night there is enough to stay in Dongdaihe for ten days!
