Doi Chong National Park, Lampang
Doi Chong National Park, located in the districts of Sop Prap, Thoen, and Mae Phrik in Lampang Province, as well as parts of Li District in Lamphun Province, spans an area of approximately 208,000 rai (332 square kilometers). It was established as a national park to preserve the natural resources of the lower Thongchai mountain range, which serves as a vital watershed for the Wang River basin.
Geographical Features
The park's terrain is predominantly composed of high, complex mountain ranges, with elevations ranging from 270 to 1,379 meters above sea level. The highest point, Doi Chong Peak, is a significant viewpoint offering panoramic vistas, especially during sunrise and sunset.
Natural Resources
