I had been to London so many times, but I had yet to visit the Royal Botanic Gardens in Kew, better known as the Kew Gardens. On my last trip I finally made it there. It is a little outside of the city centre. You can easily reach it by subway, though it might take up to an hour to get there. At 20 pounds a ticket, entrance fees are quite high, but the gardens are enlisted on the Unesco World Heritage list. The gardens are huge. You can explore the different areas, such as the woodlands for hours. Though my favourites are the glass greenhouses, especially the one with the giant lilly pads. #bucketlistreboot

I visit Richmond-upon-Thames quite a lot but struggle to find a place for lunch that isn't too expensive & that isn't selling unhealthy, highly refined carbs & sugar-laden food. I recently went to Alianti which is down the lanes just passed Richmond Green.The service was quick & efficient.The choice was very good: healthy seeded brown baguettes, jacket potatoes, healthy salads, lots of healthy sandwich fillings, plus many vegetarian options.The queue was near constant so that's always a good sign....The best bit was the price.For only £5.49 I bought a takeaway seeded brown baguette 'tuna Mexican' - tuna with sweetcorn, chilly beans & mayonnaise- the size of the filling was extremely generous, a very large portion, plus then they added cucumber slices & red onion slices.I can definitely recommend this pllace for healthy food choices, very decent-sized portions, good service, great value food.As a contrast to many of the other eateries in Richmond-upon-Thames, Alianti has very reasonable prices.#afternoonteatime #localfood #valueformoney

#EuropeTravel A little peace just 30 minutes from the heart of London Welcome to Kew Gardens, my favorite place in all of London! The gardens are so huge you could easily spend a whole day enjoying them. My favorite place is the Temperate House, filled with 10,000 plants from all over the world in the world's largest Victorian greenhouse. *You can also book a yoga session here! I visited the Royal Botanic Gardens in Kew, London and enjoyed its natural beauty. I wandered through the various plants in the greenhouses, such as the Palm House and Temperate House, and discovered rare species of flowers and trees. The high walkways between the trees were beautiful for meditation and the view from above was completely different. I took a break by the lake and the place was calm and filled with positive energy. I enjoyed the Japanese garden and bamboo walkway, I visited a small exhibition showing the history of plants. The atmosphere was perfect for walking and relaxing, every corner told a different story. The experience was perfect and full of beautiful details.
