#favouriteitinerary Putao is located in Myanmar’s most Northern state called Kachin State. This place is known for being cold and having snowy mountains during winter. We didn’t do before it was too cold so it wasn’t as cold. The hotel was very beautifully decorated with direct access to Nam Lang River where we could sit by the shore and watch the beautiful mountains. My mother wanted to try on a Kachin Traditional Clothing and the hotel was nice enough to advise us on the matter! I added a photo of her looking happy and taking photos. I definitely recommend visiting during the winter if you wanna look at snowy mountains on a budget!

#timetotravel Putao boasts of unique flora and fauna. It has several exclusive kinds of orchids such as rare black orchids which are not found anywhere else in the world. You can also spot several rare animal species such as black bear, red panda, mountain goats and black deer. If you visit between January to April, you can see exquisite species of butterflies as well. Tourists can only reach Putao by flight since road travel is restricted. Putao airport is well-connected with all the major cities of Myanmar especially Yangon, Mandalay , and Bagan.

#timetotravel Mt. Hkakabo Razi is the highest point of elevation and the highest snow-capped mountain in Myanmar with an elevation of 19,295 feet (5,881 meters). The mountain is also the highest in the Southeast Asia and it is found in the northern Kachin State, Myanmar. Mount Hkakabo Razi is the surrounded by the Hkakabo Razi National Park which is entirely mountainous made up of the broad- leaved evergreen rain forest. Mount Hkakabo Razi and Hkakabo Razi National Park is rich in flora and fauna which have not been extensively studied or researched on.

On the banks of Yingdaoji Lake, there is a small village primary school, located in the jungle. The students here are full of curiosity about the outside world. They are simple and beautiful, and their faces are always filled with moving smiles. Into the pure world away from the hustle and bustle of the city, enjoying a quiet and bleak slow time, it is very refreshing.
