The Cave Castle is a castle embedded in a 123-meter cliff. It is also the only castle in the world built using caves. It was built in the 13th century. The Cave Castle can be visited together with the Postojnska jama Cave. You can buy a package ticket for the visit at the ticket office. There is a shuttle bus near the parking lot that can take you back and forth between the two attractions (ticket: EUR 2). The journey takes about 20-30 minutes. Vivarium, also known as Vivarij is a zoology museum in Posgojna located fifty metres from the entrance to Postojna Cave. It consists of two parts. The research part, the so-called laboratory, is used for scientific work and research. The second part is the exhibit section where you can see fascinating cave animals including "The Baby Dragon"🐉.
This is a very educational site where you can learn a lot about Cave animals. It is suitable for all ages, make sure you include this package in your tickets.
There is also a souvenir shops where you can buy some cute and special souvenirs. 🎁
