This sea of clouds phenomenon happens only at certain parts of the year and only in the mornings, where the clouds density are high. If you miss the sea of clouds timing, don't be disappointed. At Kunimigaoka, it is about 513 meters above sea level, so you can imagine how spectacular the view is up here. You can see the reclining buddha of Aso, with it's five mountain peaks and the surrounding view is breathtaking. Up at this hill, there's also a swing and another view point. Do dress warmly as it can get pretty windy here. This is one place that is worth a visit!
