It is a different feeling. But the disadvantage is that the sky is cloudy and it gets dark very quickly. You have to rely on luck because clouds often cover the tip of the peak. The cute, warm city with delicious food. Relaxing here is definitely fun. • Lauterbrunnen, the outstanding symbol is the waterfall that falls in the middle of this city. If anyone has never been here, when taking the train through, you will see the waterfall from a height falling in the middle of the village beautifully. I recommend that if you have time, come down and visit a bit because the village has a beautiful view and beautiful nature. • Rodelbahn is a city where you must play Roller Coaster, an activity that should not be missed. I visited Interlaken, Lauterbrunnen, and Grindelwald in Switzerland in March this year! Switzerland was my first time traveling abroad and traveling alone, so I was very nervous. I don't remember being scared of security in the Bernese Oberland area that I visited! The Schilthorn (2,970 meters) is one of the summits in the Bernese Alps of Switzerland that can be reached without hiking up the mountain. It took us 2.5 hours to get to the Schilthorn, where the Piz Gloria revolving restaurant is located, starting from Interlaken train station and involving multiple train, bus, and cable car rides. We first took a train from Interlaken OST to Lauterbrunnen, which took approximately 20-25 minutes. From Lauterbrunnen, we boarded bus 141 to Stechelberg, the starting point for a series of four cable car rides to the summit. We purchased the cable car tickets online in advance to avoid the queues. The ticket cost CHF 42.80 per person with the Swiss Travel Pass (usual price CHF 108). The intermediate stations included Gimmelwald, Mürren, and Birg. The cable car ride offered impressive views of the Lauterbrunnen Valley and surrounding peaks. In addition to Spy World museum, a new and larger exhibition, called "007 Walk of Fame", was opened in July 2015 on the Schilthorn ridge to pay tribute to the cast and behind-the-scenes contributors to the iconic James Bond movie. The Walk of Fame consists of 15 information panels featuring George Lazenby, who played James Bond in the film, and members of the film crew. Each panel features a photo, signature, handprint in steel and a personal message. Walking on the ridge was quite a challenge especially during winter due to the strong wind and heavy snow. After a long 2.5-hour journey to the Schilthorn summit from Interlaken train station, we were greeted by spectacular alpine scenery straight out of postcards. At the summit, Piz Gloria stands 2,970 metres above sea level surrounded by more than 200 alpine peaks. Walk out of the building to Skyline View platform, which is an outdoor observation deck that provides a 360-degree view of the Swiss Alps. It's an excellent vantage point for taking in the stunning landscapes of Eiger, Mönch and Jungfrau. You need to take a tunnel lift and climb the stairs to explore a series of ten glacier fed waterfalls inside the mountain. Trümmelbach Falls is located in the Lauterbrunnen Valley, you can either walk from Lauterbrunnen city centre or take a bus. It is recommended to wear water proof shoe and jacket to avoid being wet. The waterfalls inside the mountain are impressive, it is definitely worth for a visit. The ticket was promoted for its highlights such as round trip ticket, spy world and cinema, walk of fame and thrill walk at station Birg. I bought my ticket at the counter in Murren and I’m expecting to enjoy all the activities as promoted. There is no notification at the counter nor inform by the staff that there are closure of some of the activities. After I reached the submit of the Schilthorn, I only get to know that the walk of fame was closed. Thereafter, I only know that the thrill walk at station Birg was closed too. Paid for the full ticket price and didn’t get to experience all the activities, is disappointed. If I know the main attractions were closed, I would not pay for the ticket. They should put up a notice if the activity is close. I want to travel to Hong Kong for their culture and food.

Stechelberg is part of the Lauterbrunnen valley, the entrance to the upper valley. Then we took a walk beside Parking Stechelberg to enjoy the nature, river and waterfall. There’s a place for you to barbecue too if you wanted to do so. We had a pleasant walk around that area before we take the cable car to Gimmelwald. You also can take the cable car to Murren. I went there in May. I originally thought that the weather in Switzerland would be cloudy, but in fact, it is like a girl. The four seasons are presented in one day. It was rainy and hazy in the middle of the night, and it was cloudy and foggy in the morning (but the air quality was 100%). At noon, the sun went out for work. After the beautiful sunshine, we waited until 3 o'clock in the afternoon as scheduled to take the Eiger Express to the Jungfrau, and it was snowing❄️! Snowflakes are falling... we are having so much fun! There is also an ice palace where people can learn about the history of the Jungfrau, and see the ice sculpture of the famous Chinese pianist Lang Lang. There is snow flying outside, and you will actually be so happy and moved that you won’t feel cold at all! Life is short, and the scenery you have seen will be the memories that will accompany you in the future. Beautiful alpine village nestled in the mountains with an amazing view of the Jungfrau valley and Lauterbrunnen down below. Taking the train up to Wengen will guarantee you a lovely view of Lauterbrunnen. The village has shops, attractions and amenities within walking distance. Though, if you do decide to get a resort/hotel further up, be sure to ask for shuttle cars, the upwards slopes are no joke. Our hotel had a lovely view of the cable car rides up to Männlichen, the street below and at night- if you’re willing to stand in the 14 degrees cold (even in summer) you can get a good picture of the night sky! Of course, we couldn’t stay in Wengen without visiting Männlichen and her famous Royal Walk- a short hike of 1.7km, with elevations up to 80-120m up/down, grants you a truly breathtaking panoramic view. ((the gravel paths can be a bit slippery so be careful on the way down)) The trail from Männlichen to Kleine Scheidegg was an overall downhill walk with a view of Grindelwald down below and the snow capped mountains. But before you embark on this trail be sure to either get something to eat or drink (and the WC of course) at Männlichen as it is quite a long walk (about 4.7km). Near the midpoint you can see Eiger! A truly memorable walk with amazing scenery of the town below and mountains all around us. Truly a scenic paradise with plenty of activities to do, whether you prefer to simply enjoy the views or try out some of their more thrilling activities. Are you a fan of 007 James Bond? Then Mt. Schilthorn is a must!! The building on Mt Schilthorn is called Piz Gloria and it is the primary filming location for the movie of James Bond! There is also a mini museum/exhibition about 007 James Bond within the Mt Schilthorn. We visited Mt Schilthron during the winter and we got to enjoy the panoramic winter view. At Mt. Schilthron, you would be able to enjoy amazing views of the alps, namely Eiger, Monch and Jungfrau. Overall, we had a great time at Mt Schilthorn. 💯
