I was born and raised in Kissimmee and absolutely adore it! It’s nickname is “Cow Town” because there is an annual rodeo hosted here and it used to be mainly cow farms before Disney was built! ******* Getting There - Kissimmee is located right outside Orlando! If you fly into MCO airport you can get to Kissimmee in about 20 minutes! I recommend using Uber or Lyft because regular taxi’s are harder to find and can be much more expensive! ******* Attractions - There are several attractions located in Kissimmee that many tourist think are actually located in Orlando. Kissimmee is a must see if you are heading to central Florida for vacation! The Road Trip team orchestrated a week-long getaway for us. We had sightseeing, hotel reservations, and a rental car arranged—all effortlessly smooth! All we needed was to fly in, grab our car, and follow the journey. The team excellently highlighted New Zealand's top spots with incredible stopovers along the way. When the weather turned, they informed us in advance and offered alternative plans. I was thrilled with everything. Oh, must mention the app—it's fantastic too! Ramada by Wyndham Kissimmee Gateway ◆ Number of Nights 4 Nights, 5 Days ◆ Guests Single Female ◆ Amenities Plenty of towels! Coffee maker, microwave, and refrigerator available. ◆ Heating Air conditioning is available, with individual heating and cooling settings. ◆ Bed I'm not sure if they were king or queen size, but there were two large beds. ◆ Room Size Even with two people, we each brought our largest suitcases, and there was plenty of room to spread out. Staying alone, I felt a little lonely. ◆ Security Elevators are accessible to each floor without a room key (card). The front desk is open 24 hours, but the staff was mostly in the office. ◆ Convenience Store There was no convenience store, but there was a simple kiosk with self-checkouts. ◆ Lobby Water and coffee were always available!! ◆ Bathroom The shower room wasn't particularly clean, but it was fine for the low price. There was some red mold under the door, but it was tolerable. ◆Nearby Amenities Starbucks, Walmart, and a bakery? All are within walking distance. You can really walk there. Having Walmart behind the hotel is a great advantage! They had a wide selection of Disney keychains and other items. You can buy souvenirs to give away at Walmart. I also buy yogurt and bread. It was really useful! ◆Shuttle Bus The shuttle bus has very limited hours, so I ended up taking Uber. [Impressions] Having a Walmart was great. Magic Kingdom is far away, but EPCOT and other places are close. The parking lot is spacious too! If I have the chance to visit WDW again, this was a great value hotel I'd definitely stay at! #waltdisneyworld

I finally made it to Walt Disney World in Florida, a long-time dream of mine! Travel Date: Late August 2025 Travel Length: 5 Nights, 7 Days Hotel: Ramada by Wyndham Kissimmee Gateway Schedule: Day 1: Japan → San Francisco✈️ I had a 10-hour layover, so I spent some time sightseeing around the city (see separate article). Flight to Orlando ✈️ Day 2: Arrived at Orlando Airport around 7:30 AM. Taking an Uber to the hotel. Changed clothes, checked my luggage, and headed to EPCOT 🪐 Day 3: Shopped at Walmart first thing in the morning. Went to the character dining at Beach Club Resort around 11 AM. Strolled around Disney Springs. Participated in a Halloween-only event that opened at 4 PM 🎃 Day 4: Disney's Hollywood Studios Day 5: Magic Kingdom Day 6: Arrived at Orlando Airport around 5 AM. Heading home on an 8am flight ✈️ ≪Things I was glad to bring≫ ・Water (just the minimum amount, as it might not be readily available) ・Umbrella for both sun and rain ・UV-blocking innerwear ・Stainless steel bottle ・Compression socks Sun protection is essential. The weather was a little milder than the muggy heat of Japan. Some locals were also starting to use parasols. I didn't want to bother with the umbrella, so I wore a long-sleeved UV innerwear, but almost no one else was wearing long sleeves. ≪Other≫ I'll write more details about each trip separately, but I planned to play to the limit! I used miles I've saved up over the years, so I think I was able to keep the cost down. our first trip of 2025 was to Orlando florida our 2nd home and favourite place to be . we were doing a road trip this time ...Orlando to clearwater to tampa to sarosota to naples to the everglades to fort lauderdale to Melbourne back to Orlando. . recommended stay in tampa : townsuites tampa fairground and casino excellent hotel very modern rooms very spacious and in good location not far away is hard rock hotel and casino tampa , always excellent food price wise is a little more pricey than other restaurants but great atmosphere recommended attractions in everglades is captin jacks airboat ride very fast and intresting ride through the mangroves seeing wildlife like racoons local birds and of course gators price is around $55 per person for an hours ride recommended retail therapy in fort lauderdale is the largest mall saw grass Mills recommended restaurant in Melbourne is grillzs overlooking a lake excellent food and atmosphere average price for food between $15-$25 for mains back in Orlando pirates adventure golf on International drive is always a fun activity for families and couples with 2 18 hole courses to choose from
