Inside the castle, you can find remnants of strategic features like stone walls, turrets, and loopholes, making it a fascinating experience. Climbing the wooden stairs to the top floor, I was rewarded with a panoramic view of Himeji city, accompanied by a refreshing breeze. The surrounding gardens and moat scenery also exude charm, making it perfect for a leisurely stroll. Despite the number of tourists, the spacious grounds allowed for a comfortable visit. This iconic Japanese castle is packed with historical romance and beauty!
