Walking Along the Stunning Karakoram Highway in Hunza
The Karakoram Highway, commonly known as KKH, stretches from China to Pakistan. Interestingly, the well-maintained roads in Pakistan were actually constructed by China.
The Hunza region is surrounded by majestic mountains ranging from 6,000 to 7,000 meters in height. The scenery was so breathtaking that I decided to walk from Sost to Karimabad over the course of several days.
Perhaps due to the local culture, people driving cars or riding motorcycles often offered me a lift as I walked along the road.
Whether you choose to walk or accept a ride, this route offers an incredible opportunity to enjoy stunning views.
However, be aware that autumn is the off-season, and some accommodations may not be open during this time.
